JOB SUMMARY

The Industrial Electrical Account/Project Manager actively builds a client base, proactively sells company services, performs all functions of a Project Manager (PM) for projects and accounts that do not have an assigned PM, and provides PM oversight for accounts or projects assigned to the Account Manager. Guides and directs assigned team of interns, project engineers, and assistant PMs. Contributes to functions and actions to build and enhance the company infrastructure, culture, and communication. Quality & Safety

• Enforce safety procedures and site requirements in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of installation.
• Verify system labeling, testing accuracy, and documentation completion.

Competencies:

• Proficient in copper, coax, and fiber optic systems installation and testing.
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, and industry best practices.
• Experience leading crews or training junior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of hands-on low-voltage experience in industrial or mission-critical environments
  • Experience working alongside licensed electricians and controls engineers
  • Exposure to PLC, SCADA, or industrial networking environments
• Certifications & Licenses:
  • BICSI Technician (TECH) Certification — Required
  • BICSI Installer Certification (Installer 1 or Installer 2 — Copper and/or Fiber) — Required
  • Valid driver’s license – Required
  • OSHA 30 – PREFERRED
  • Manufacturer certifications (Panduit, CommScope, Belden, Corning, Leviton) – PREFERRED
• Additional: Experience in industrial environments such as manufacturing plants, water treatment facilities, or energy projects preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling required.
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.
  • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, dusty, or noisy settings).
• Environment:
  • Work is performed on active industrial and construction sites.
  • Must wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, FR clothing, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.).
  • May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or travel based on project schedules.
